A brush with patriotism!

The enthusiasm was contagious! Pallav Green Foundation, in association with RWA D-7, hosted a calligraphy workshop for children with the aim of inculcating love and patriotic feelings for the nation among them. It was so much more than just learning a new skill. Our young participants channelled their creativity to make stunning wall paintings with patriotic themes. Using cut-outs of the Indian map, soldiers, the national flag, and the symbol of peace, they transformed their artistic skills into a beautiful tribute. Seeing their excitement and gratitude for our country and its brave soldiers was truly heart-warming. A huge thank you to Mr. Sunman Madhava, without whose support this event would not have been possible, and to all the children who participated and made this event a huge success!

United in Hope: Supporting Our Brave Cancer Kids

Our hearts ache for the brave children battling cancer, and that's why Pallav Green Foundation is committed to making a difference, even in small ways. Recently, we had the privilege of visiting Kidscan-Scankids Hospital to bring some smiles and much-needed comfort to the little warriors there. Each child received a small gift pack filled with dental kits, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, juices, and chocolates – tiny treats to brighten their day. We also donated sanitizers, bedsheets, and top sheets to the hospital, aiming to provide a bit more ease for the kids during their stay. A huge thank you to Mrs. Anita Grover for her incredible generosity and immense love for these children. Her support truly made this initiative possible! Together, we can continue to bring hope and care to these courageous young lives.

Community Health Boost: Our Gratitude to All the Doctors!

What an incredible day at our recent medical camp, organized by PGF in partnership with the Spinal Injury Hospital Vasant Kunj. We were honoured to have a dedicated team of specialist doctors across various fields – orthopaedics, nephrology, cardiology, physiotherapy, and dental screening – provide consultations and care. Residents also benefited from essential general body check-ups, including sugar tests, BP, weight, and BMD. The turnout was fantastic, and it warms our hearts to know that so many of you were able to access vital health services right here in your neighbourhood. Our sincere gratitude goes out to every single doctor for their invaluable contribution and unwavering commitment. This is just the beginning! We're looking forward to organizing many more such beneficial medical camps across the entire Vasant Kunj area.

Unleashing Young Minds with Vedic Maths!

The Pallav Green Foundation (PGF), in partnership with the D-7 RWA, successfully hosted a highly anticipated Vedic Maths workshop. This initiative was specifically designed to provide children with an enriching and engaging activity, encouraging them to explore productive avenues instead of excessive screen time on social media. Led by the renowned educator Mrs. Preeti Goyal, the workshop aimed to transform children's often-negative perception of mathematics into a captivating and enjoyable experience. Numerous children, accompanied by their enthusiastic parents, participated in the session. They were genuinely thrilled to discover the remarkably simple and rapid calculation techniques demonstrated by Mrs. Goyal, sparking a newfound interest in the subject. The overwhelmingly positive feedback, including demands from children for more regular workshops, underscored the event's significant success in fostering a positive and intellectually stimulating environment. Together for a Greener Tomorrow

The Pallav Green Foundation, in collaboration with Mr. Naresh Yadav, former MLA of Mehrauli, continued its weekly tradition of cleanliness drives today, focusing its efforts on the D-7 block of Vasant Kunj. As with previous Sundays, the initiative was a resounding success, making a significant impact on the local environment. A dedicated team of workers tirelessly cleaned every nook and cranny of the area, removing tons of accumulated garbage. The refuse collected included a wide array of waste, from plastics and disposable items to building materials and countless bags of general litter. In addition to the comprehensive waste removal, the drive also addressed overgrown vegetation. Pruning of trees was meticulously carried out, as their sprawling branches had been obstructing the smooth movement of both pedestrians and vehicles. This effort significantly improved safety and accessibility for residents in the area. Community Rallies for the Green Cause

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Pallav Green Foundation, in partnership with Mr. Naresh Yadav, Ex MLA, Mehrauli organized a highly impactful plantation drive. The initiative brought together a diverse group of dedicated volunteers and a significant number of children, all united by a common goal to nurture our planet. The collaborative effort resulted in the successful planting of a large number of trees, making a significant contribution to local greening efforts. The children's participation was particularly inspiring. Beyond their hands-on involvement in planting, they eloquently expressed their environmental passion through vibrant and thoughtful slogans, demonstrating a profound awareness and appreciation for nature. To instill a lasting sense of stewardship, an innovative "adoption" program was introduced: each plant planted by a child was individually adopted by them. Their names were lovingly inscribed on the plants, not only acknowledging their contribution but also fostering a personal bond that encourages ongoing care and attention. This thoughtful approach ensured the event was not just a one-day success, but the beginning of a sustained commitment to environmental well-being.

On Earth Day

On Earth Day, April 22nd, 2025, Pallav Green Foundation inspired Vasant Kunj's young minds with an art competition. Children shared their vision for a sustainable future in "Children's Vision: A Sparkling Clean and Green Delhi." The vibrant artwork from the 20 participants, filled with creativity and imagination, offered unique and inspiring glimpses of a greener tomorrow which was a testament to their understanding of environmental issues and their hope for the future. We're so proud to have provided this platform for our young eco-artists to express themselves. Dr. Anjulika Joshi, Director of Pallav Green Foundation, celebrated each child's creativity and dedication by awarding them with gifts, chocolates, and certificates, further encouraging their artistic talents and environmental awareness.

A celebration of pure love and connection unfolded at Nirmal Jyoti, a home for homeless mentally and physically challenged individuals. Divya Singh, an active member of Pallav Green Foundation, chose to celebrate her son Ayush's birthday and share a special day with these extraordinary people, bringing smiles and laughter to their lives. We shared cake, a warm meal, and special gifts, creating moments of genuine happiness. The joy in their eyes was a precious gift in itself. Honking Harms: Campaign Aims to Reduce Noise Pollution and Road Rage

To combat the growing concern of noise pollution caused by excessive honking in the city, The Pallav Green Foundation and Vasant Public School joined forces to launch a 'No Honking' campaign in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on February 3, 2025. The initiative aimed to reduce noise pollution by educating drivers about the harmful effects of excessive honking, including road rage and accidents.
During the campaign, members of the organization actively engaged with drivers, urging them to refrain from unnecessary honking and encouraging them to embrace a more peaceful and sustainable urban environment. "No Honking" stickers were distributed to drivers to amplify the message. The children were overjoyed to receive these gifts, momentarily forgetting their pain and suffering. They joyfully accepted the donations, their eyes sparkling with joy.
